How Can NFU Energy Help?
NFU Energy is here to assist with supporting an application through production of guidance documents. This includes electricity generation, CO2 production and heating technologies - including, but not limited to, heat pumps (ground and water source), biomass boiler and Combined Heat and Power (CHP), and anaerobic digestion (biogas boiler and CHP) industrial waste heat. The guidance documents will:
- Highlight the key considerations for the respective technology (inputs, outputs, permits etc.)
- Describe how the technology fits into a protected horticultural setting
- Outline high-level performance and operational costs
- Give an indication of capital costs, supported where possible by installer communications.
Ongoing Support
Once your application has been accepted, we’re here to assist with the practical implementation of many energy saving and carbon reduction solutions including:
- An on-site energy assessment
- Specialist equipment to pinpoint energy leaks, monitor internal environmental conditions such as temperature, pressure, flow and humidity.
- Advise how various technologies and solutions might fit with your particular operational processes and the likely scale of the installation required.
- Detailed written report, with recommended actions for improvement – including estimates of costs and paybacks.
- One-stop-shop access to our accredited list and strong network of contacts and partner organisations, who are able to offer all forms of renewable energy generation technologies, energy metering and monitoring technology solutions and energy efficiency technologies.
- Ongoing support throughout the entirety of your project.
