NFU Energy has recently been involved in a pilot initiative to conduct comprehensive on-site energy efficiency audits and renewables feasibility assessments across 16 farms in the North of England.
This project was backed by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, supporting the government’s wider commitment to level up all parts of the UK by building pride in place and increasing life chances.
The project and the outcomes forms part of a detailed report that will give insight into trends, anomalies and target areas; providing the evidence required to enable the project’s steering committee to develop future programs to support farmers and growers to be more profitable and sustainable.
